Firefighters contain two-county brush fire near Hays Energy

Firefighters from three counties are wrapping up control of a grass fire that burned an undetermined amount of land in Comal and Guadalupe counties on San Marcos’ southern periphery.



County gives initial approval to new road plan

In a rare unanimous decision, Hays County commissioners voted this morning to “conceptually” accept a reworked roads package from the state transportation department.

Theatre Department presents drama ‘Memory of Water’

Texas State University’s theatre and dance department presents Shelagh Stephenson’s bittersweet play, “Memory of Water” Feb. 7-10.
Directed by Debbie Swan, performances will be Feb. 7-9 at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee performance Feb. 10 at the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre in the Theatre Center on campus.
