Suspect charged with secretly videotaping for sexual gratification nabbed by cops

Tips from the public helped San Marcos police arrest a 23-year-old Canyon Lake man on a felony charge of taking photographs for sexual gratification without consent.

Police arrest stepfather accused of injury to a child

The stepfather of a two year old boy who suffered a fractured skull last week has been arrested and charged with felony injury to a child / serious bodily injury. Adrian Alvarez Rodriguez, 29, was taken into custody Thursday by San Marcos Police and jailed at the Hays County Law Enforcement Center.
