The J.C. Kellam (JCK) building on the Texas State campus was locked down briefly Friday after the University Police Department (UPD) received a report of an armed individual in the building.
“There was a report to UPD that a possibly armed individual was seen in JCK,” said Texas State spokesman Jamye Blaschke. “Police investigated and found no such evidence.”
The building was briefly locked down as a precaution while the search was conducted, then resumed normal operation.
