STAFF REPORT

On Sept. 17, members from the A+ Credit Union dropped off donated school supplies to Crockett Elemetary School in the San Marcos CISD. The supplies were gratefully received by Principal Rick LaBuhn and Assistant Principle Tim Maresch.

The A+ Credit Union was recently honored with the Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award. The award, sponsored by the Texas Credit Union League and the Credit Union National Association, is given in recognition of financial leadership within the credit union movement on behalf of youth financial literacy.

Part of the financial literacy education of A+ Credit Union is its year long San Marcos High School Saving Challenge where students compete to achieve their savings goals with A+ financial coaches guiding them to learn life-long money management skills.
