David Baker from the small San Marcos H-E-B recently donated a grill and a supply of hand sanitizer to the Crockett Elementary School.
Principal Rick LaBuhn (wearing a super hero shirt in observance of Red Ribbon Week) and Assistant Principal Tim Maresch accepted the donations on behalf of Crockett.
The grill will be used for a variety of school events and campus fundraisers. One of the first such events is a luncheon to raise money for the San Marcos Education Foundation’s Innovative Teaching Grants program.
