CAP works at library to aid college hopefuls of all ages

The San Marcos Public Library, 625 East Hopkins, in conjunction with the College Access Project (CAP) and Texas State University is offering help to high school students and other college hopefuls with pre-college information. Representatives from CAP will be at the library as a free walk-in service on Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m.
The CAP representatives will help students search for colleges, fill out applications and financial aid forms like the FAFSA, and help with scholarship information. CAP provides services to high school students, their parents/guardians, and community members. CAP also aids non-traditional students, including people who have been away from school for a while.
Whether you graduated yesterday or yesteryear, registering with CAP can assist future college students with the ACT/SAT fee and college admission fee waivers.
