Frost cuts ribbon

Frost Insurance, 102 Suttles Avenue, was recently treated to a ribbon cutting ceremony by the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. The local staff for the agency has been in San Marcos since 1987.

Local restaurants participate in Haiti relief

Eight San Marcos restaurants are participating Thursday night (Feb. 11) in Dine Out San Marcos, an initiative of the restaurants, Texas State’s student government and San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz to provide relief funds for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
