Spanish lecture slated at Texas State

On March 16, a lecture on Latin American and Spanish events that affected Mexico’s War of Independence will be given by noted historian María Victoria López-Cordón Cortezo in Centennial Hall G02 at 5 p.m. The lecture, “Los representantes de la América hispana en las Cortes de Cádiz de 1812,” will be given in Spanish.

Former Councilmember Earl Moseley dead at 48

Earl Moseley, well known at Texas State and around San Marcos, succumbed to pancreatic cancer early Thursday evening in San Antonio. Moseley served a term on the San Marcos City Council 10 years ago.
