Updated: City to consider $2.5M, interest free theater loan

The San Marcos City Council will consider a $2.5 million, interest free loan Tuesday night to incentivize the development of an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at the vacant Best Buy building at Springtown Mall. The loan would be repaid with the sales and property tax increases generated by the property improvements.
