It can only happen in the quarterback-heavy Southland Conference, where Texas State quarterback Bradley George was named Offensive Player of the Year Tuesday, only for two other quarterbacks to share the Player of the Year Award.

The Texas State football team no longer has a chance at the playoffs, but could conceivably finish in the three-way tie for the league championship. The Bobcats end their season Saturday at Bobcat Stadium against rival Sam Houston State.
