CTMC certified as Level IV trauma facility

Central Texas Medical Center has been certified as a Basic Level IV Trauma facility by a state agency. A Level IV designated facility provides resuscitation, stabilization and assessment for injury victims, then either treats the patients or arranges for the appropriate transfer to a higher level designated facility.



Hays County to give Guadalupe residents free immunizations

Hays County will provide free immunizations to Guadalupe County residents at a health fair next week, saying it’s a public health benefit for Hays County residents. A Guadalupe County commissioner said Guadalupe officials were unaware of the initiative.

Two weekend crashes knock out city power
