San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz recently honored 15 San Marcos High School students for their outstanding academic performances in the National Merit competition, the College Boards, and other academic achievements.


City offices turn green

City buildings in San Marcos now get the benefit of the single stream recycling already available to residents. Due to a partnership with Green Guy Recycling, the city is also able to participate in this “green” process.


State of the City address set for Oct. 15

San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz will give her fifth annual “State of the City” address on Oct. 15 at the City of San Marcos Conference Center, 1301 South Interstate-35. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
