San Marcos High School seniors Connor Wilson, Irene Morse and Henry Finch have received letters from the National Merit Scholarship program announcing that they are finalists for the 2010 National Merit Scholarships.
San Marcos High School (SMHSPrincipal Michelle Darling recently announced that two students, Weston Hearne and Thomas Moore, were named as Commended Student in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship program.
San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz recently honored 15 San Marcos High School students for their outstanding academic performances in the National Merit competition, the College Boards, and other academic achievements.
The three National Merit semifinalists, two National Hispanic Scholars, and 14 senior AP Scholars were recognized by San Marcos CISD trustees this week. The students represent a lot of high SAT (Scholastic Aptitude/Assessment Test) and AP (Advanced Placement) test scores.
