Hays CISD receives 24 GPAs

Hays CISD schools have been awarded 24 Gold Performance Acknowledgements (GPAs)based on the Texas Education Agency (TEA) performance ratings. Thirteen of the eighteen campuses were given one or more GPAs.


Hays CISD board approves budget, sets tax rate

The Hays CISD Board of Trustees set a tax rate for 2009-10 of $1.4613 per $100 valuation, the same rate as last year. Additionally, the school district’s assessment coordinator said the district is on the road to “recognized” status by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
