CROP walk is an annual walk to raise funds to alleviate hunger both locally and worldwide. The 1.5-mile walk will start on Sunday from the Price Seniors Center.

A Saturday workshop by Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas will address the Trap, Neuter, Return and Maintain (TNRM) method for managing the stray cat population. The event will take place at the San Marcos Public Library. Another session is scheduled for March 2.

Admission is free, but attendees are requested to bring a donation of dry pet food.
