he Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce’s (KACC) tourism committee met this week to discuss future events for 2010. The events being discussed include Kyle Fair and Music Festival, Fajita Fiesta and BBQ CooK-off, Kyle Market Days, Kyle Annual Golf Classic, Kyle-O-Meter 5K run, as well as a few others.

The weekend is chock-full of fine events. The Veterans Day Parade in San Marcos has more than 78 entries, Java Jive is cooking up delicious foods and coffees, the music is particularly good this weekend and the weather? Well, it should be a bit crisp.

You want festivals? We got ‘em. Music? But of course. What else do you want? A petting zoo? Well, we’ve got that too. Theatre? ‘Natch. You won’t find much missing this weekend, but you certainly don’t want to miss this weekend of fun and surprises.

Comes now, the weekend of numerous Cinco de Mayo celebrations, along with Pete Seeger’s birthday and the usual gamut of live music and entertainment in San Marcos.
