George Washington receives city honor

We cannot tell a lie. One of the founding fathers, first president of the U. S. George Washington, was recently commemorated by the City of San Marcos in honor of his birthday on Feb. 22. Accepting the honor were representatives from the Sons of the the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
