The city of San Marcos has scheduled an orientation for Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the San Marcos Conference Center for the dozens of citizens appointed to serve on city boards and commissions. A reception will follow the session at 5:30 p.m.
The Kris Kimura Quartet, notable local swing band, will provide music at the Sights and Sounds Gala.
