Council waits on campaign finance limits

The San Marcos City Council declined once again to take up campaign finance limitations last week. However, the council made numerous appointments to most boards and commissions they didn’t sunset at the same meeting.

City to hold hazardous waste, medication collection

The City of San Marcos will sponsor a drive-through household hazardous water collection on July 25, along with Operation Medicine Cabinet, from 8 a.m, to noon at the City Traffic Yard.



San Marcos joins Eldercare fan drive

The City of San Marcos has joined Hays County and other entities in Family Eldercare’s annual summer fan drive. The fans will go to low income and medically fragile residents.
