Texas State announced Tuesday morning that it has signed head football coach Brad Wright to a three-year contract extension. The university also extended the contracts of four other coaches.

Texas State passes 30,000 enrollment

After passing Texas Tech and Texas-San Antonio last year to become the fifth-largest university in Texas last year, Texas State has again set its enrollment record this fall, passing 30,000 students.



Trauth says state of Texas State is strong

Texas State University President Denise Trauth told university faculty and staff Tuesday that Texas State is growing in enrollment, prestige and facilities. The university expects to welcome a record number of students when classes start Wednesday.
